Went to AXIS to eat and watch the World Series final. The service was excellent. Food was good too.
My favorite spot in Toronto. The food is delicious, the service is quick and polite. It's nice to sit at the patio or go downstairs for a pool table game. The jukebox plays good tunes but can always change the song. It's spacious that your around people but still able to have a private conversation. I recommend the burger it hits the spot. They also make a very good veggie wrap. I have been mixing it up with the daily specials.
Came here in October for the monthly karaoke pop up and have been back monthly since. Saturday nights are a good vibe and Raia's service is second to none! Highly recommend stopping by and seeing for yourself. Thanks Raia, youre the best!
Axis doesn't bill itself as one of the new trendy dive bars, nor does it attempt to be your local Irish pub... But it somehow does both really well. There are items of food here that are quite remarkable and I mean that in the best of ways.. one of the best seafood pastas in the city, both in terms of value ample portion size and actual seafood. Drink prices are quite Fair and the locals are friendly enough that if there isn't a table for you solos out there, you're more than welcome to join one
The food was delicious. the staff, were friendly and attentive
